HOUSE RULES
RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS

GENERAL

Regarding the rights and obligations of the members, reference is made to the General Terms and Conditions of the PureGym fitness club on the back of the PureGym membership form. Every member must behave respectfully towards other members and staff in the PureGym fitness club and refrain from any indecent or offensive behaviour. Making phone calls and taking photos or videos with a mobile phone is prohibited in the entire PureGym fitness club. For hygiene reasons, edibles are prohibited in the PureGym fitness club. Likewise, no animals may be brought along.

TRAINING AREA

The training area may be entered only with clean sports shoes that are not used for outdoor activities. No training bags are allowed on the training area. Sportswear must be worn during training. Training with the upper body exposed is not permitted. For hygiene reasons, each member must carry a towel and place it on the equipment for training. After using the equipment, it must be cleaned of any sweat residue. Disinfectant is available for this purpose. People with strong body odour are requested to shower before training. Only sealable plastic bottles can be brought to the training area. Open containers or glass bottles are prohibited. Equipment and weight benches are to be used according to instructions and left in an orderly condition. Barbells, weights, benches, handles, etc. must be put away properly. In order to ensure a smooth training process, training equipment/stations may not be reserved or blocked for multiple sets.

CIGARETTE AND DRUG USE

Any consumption of cigarettes and drugs (anabolic steroids, testosterone, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, alcohol, etc.) is strictly prohibited on the premises of the PureGym gyms. The consumption of legally permitted quantities is also prohibited. Any violation will result in the termination of membership, an immediate permanent ban from all PureGym gyms and will be reported to the police. Should it be necessary to take substances that fall under the drug law, this is permitted only on presentation of a medical certificate. In principle, a zero tolerance limit applies.

SOLARIUM

After using the sunbeds, they must be cleaned with the disinfectant provided for this purpose.

SHOWERS

For hygiene reasons, hair dyeing, shaving/depilation and nail care are prohibited in the showers.

CHILDREN

Children under the age of 14 are not allowed access to the PureGym fitness club. Teenagers between 14 and 18 may train only with parental consent, which must be provided in writing (parents must be present when signing up for a membership).

WARDROBE

PureGym accepts no liability for the members‘ clothes or valuables. These must be locked in the lockers provided. No property may be left in the PureGym fitness club between two training visits.

LOCKERS

The lockers in the cloakrooms cannot be rented. You must bring your own lock to each training session and remove it after each session. PureGym reserves the right to remove any remaining locks in the evening.
